Adrian Chip has his first season in 2010. He got 112 mares. 51 in Italy, 43 in Sweden and others in Norway, Finland and Holland.
He was approved for breeding with the following appraisal: Big, leggy stallion of the lighter model. Narrow chest. Steep shoulder. High withers. Long sloping croup. Straight hooks. Long pasterns. Sire seen in racing condition with minor veterinary remarks.
Sons of Andover Hall Donato Hanover, 1.08,5, $2.919.327 and Adrian Chip were both born in 2004 and represent the most legendary breeding debut by any stallion. RACING CAREER
Adrian Chip began his racing career in North America, where he took five wins during his first season and set the record 1.11,8 (world record at the time), before he was exported to Sweden.
Adrian Chip was trained during winter in Sweden and showed that he was world class early. He won the Ulf Thoresens Memory (grp1) before returning to USA. He won his elimination for Hambletonian and “any other year” Sweden would had another Hambletonian-winner, but Donato Hanover was unbeatable.
Finishing season Adrian Chip 1.09,4 noted his record in the World Trotting Derby, this time barely beaten by Donato Hanover after a very fast finish. Adrian Chip kept going during the 3-year-old season by winning Gran Premio Orsi Mangelli elimination and finals, where he earned 1.250.736 SEK.
During his 3-year-old season Adrian Chip earned 6.656.415 SEK. As 4-year-old he won the elimination of Konung Gustaf V:s Pokal(EURO Classic Trot) and finished third in finals. Adrian Chip also triumphed in Axel Jensen Memory at Bjerke, Norway and beat the Nordic 4-year-old elite. The season ended with a win of Solvalla Grand Prix. As 5-year-old Adrian Chip has earned 700.000 SEK.
